ANOTHER CHARGED WITH FRAUD OVER VEHICLES

Thirty-seven-year-old Junior Campbell, otherwise called ‘Alka’, or ‘Blacka’, a higgler of Clampstead in Lime Hall, St. Ann, has been charged with murder, following the stabbing death of a man at Tracey Ville, Lime Hall, in the parish on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
Dead is 38-year-old Roy Annikie, a caretaker of Tracey Ville, Lime Hall, in the parish.

Reports from the St. Ann’s Bay Police are that at about 7:30 p.m., residents heard Annikie and Campbell fighting inside the house. Shortly after, Annakie called out for help. The police were summoned, and on their arrival, Annikie’s body was seen lying face down in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds. The scene was processed, and the body was later removed to the morgue pending postmortem.
Campbell was apprehended and taken into custody on Thursday, October 9. Following investigations, lawmen formally charged him on Friday, October 17.
His court date is being finalised.

DEPOSITS PAID ON VEHICLES IN FRAUD
The St. Ann Police have charged a businessman with fraud in relation to a series of incidents in the parish between April and August 2023.
Charged with fraudulent conversion is 44-year-old Lloyd Thompson, a businessman of Balmetto East Fort, in St. Catherine.
Reports from the Discovery Bay Police are that two men paid deposits to Thompson for motor vehicles between April and August of 2023. One complainant paid a sum of two million four hundred thousand (J$ 2,400,000) for a Toyota Coaster, while the other paid one million (J$1,000,000) as a deposit for a Toyota Hiace bus. After making payments, both men tried to contact Thompson to finalise the transactions, but he began avoiding their calls.
According to police, Thompson later gave the men an explanation that aroused their suspicions, leading them to make a report to the police. Thompson was later taken into custody in connection with similar reports made within the Kingston police area. An identification parade was conducted, during which both complainants positively identified him. He was formally charged on Friday, October 17. His court date is being finalised.
