WOMAN’S BODY FOUND AT HOME DAYS AFTER DEATH

ST MARY POLICE SAY NO SIGN OF FOUL PLAY

HIGHGATE, St Mary; April 21, 2026

The St. Mary Police are investigating the death of a 35-year-old woman whose decomposing body was found at her home in Lewis Store, Highgate.

Dead is Kerry-Ann Latoya Henry, unemployed, of Lewis Store, Highgate, St. Mary

According to reports, Ms Henry lived alone and was last seen alive around 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Police said her death is estimated to have occurred between that time and 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026.

Concerns were raised after multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact her by phone. When her landlord checked Ms Henry’s house, a foul odour was detected, and the police were alerted. Officers found the house securely locked and used force to gain entry. Inside, Henry’s body was discovered lying on its back in an advanced state of decomposition.

Police said, “At this time, no signs of foul play have been identified.”

Reports indicate that Ms Henry had recently visited a local medical practitioner due to general ill health.

Investigations are ongoing. The police are appealing to anyone with information that may assist in determining the circumstances of the death to come forward. Persons with knowledge or who made observations in the area between April 14 and April 17, 2026, are urged to contact the Highgate Police at 876-992-2233, Port Maria Police at 876-994-4223, or Crime Stop at 311.
