Angela Ducasse is mourning the death of her only son Andre, popularly known as Billy who died in a car crash Easter Sunday, April 16, less than a half mile from the garage he worked. He says it’s hard letting him go. Mrs Ducasse says the family is awaiting the post mortem report to start making funeral arrangements. Over his school life he attended several institutions including Ocho Rios and Oracabessa Primary Schools, Retreat All Age and Port Maria High and Tacky High.

Here is her tribute sent to the North Coast Times:

“As a child growing up Andre Ducasse, Billy, was a smart jovial kind and loving person. At age nine his first car was a go cart in which he love racing. At age 18 he then owned his first Mazda car and started from there to build and fix cars. He is always there to help and put a smile on your face once you see his dimples. He was very ambitious and creative young man who always found a way of getting things done. He enjoyed fishing cooking and fixing cars. Building engines was his passion. His favorite dish was stew peas and steam fish with okra. He also loved cooking. There was never a dull moment around Billy. He was not the type to keep malice nor argue. Even going to school he never got himself into trouble. He was always a peace maker. He took care of children as if he was a father though he never had any children. He was a friend in deed. His wings were ready but my heart was not ready… Rest in peace.”
