Founder and CEO of On Di Go for Christ, recognized for work with the vulnerable

Aneta Blackett-Ricketts is being honoured by the St Mary Municipal Corporation (SAMC) for her dedicated service to her community of Islington and the wider St Mary.
Mrs Blackett Ricketts is the founder and CEO of On Di Go for Christ, a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) that has been providing meals and necessities to the less fortunate in the Islington community since 2020. The former cosmetologist and entrepreneur took on the role after realizing how much some in the community were in need. Her push to dedicate her time and assets to help came after a vision from God.
She thanks all those who have been assisting On Di Go for Christ. These include people unknown to her, locally and internationally. And, she thanks family members who made their own personal contributions and have stood by her in keeping the organization and its work going.

Regarding the award to be conferred on Monday, October 19, 2026, Mrs Blackett Ricketts says: “I am thankful and humbled to be recognized, but this recognition is from God. All praise belongs to Him.”
