POLICE SAY HE WAS FOUND WITH A HEAD WOUND AT MARKET

Police want to find out what happened at or around the market in Port Maria that left a 70-year-old man critically wounded and in hospital.
The victim, a 70-year-old male of Port Maria, St Mary, was found lying unresponsive on the piazza of the market with what appeared to be a serious head wound, on Wednesday, April 1. He was found after midnight, about 1 a.m. on Wednesday.
The man was transported to the Port Maria Hospital for treatment.
The scene was processed, and evidence was collected, but no surveillance cameras were found in the area.
According to reports, up to Thursday afternoon, April 2, Â the wounded man was admitted in serious condition and was set to be transferred to the Kingston Public Hospital for further treatment.
