Toni Harrison who graduated with great honour and delivered the salutatorian address emerged as the top performing student among the graduates. She walked away with several academic awards including outstanding performance in geography, principles of business, principles of accounts and additional mathematics. She also received the Rev’d Lenworth H. Sterling Principal’s Award for student obtaining highest score for graduation. Another outstanding student, Brittney Bennett, whose father was brutally murdered at his St. Ann home earlier this year was awarded the Ivy a. McGlashan-Campbell Shield for English Language; Claudette White trophy for outstanding performance in Agricultural Science and the Sheryl White-McDowell Award for Outstanding Leadership Qualities. She was also awarded for her outstanding performance in Religious Education. A number of other top performing students as well as several members of the academic staff were also recognized.
