2 killed on football field
Police are still searching for clues as to motive in a double murder that took place in Highgate St Mary, Sunday, March 27.
Dead are: 16-year-old Nathan Tyrese Segree, otherwise called Pazzy, student of Guys Hill High School and resident at Capture Land, Highgate, and 22-year-old Geovani Higgins also called Marcus, correctional officer, also of Capture Land, Highgate, St Mary.
Facts are that the two were among several people at the St Mary High School Football field, Highgate, when about 6:30 p.m. a white Toyota Axio motorcar drove up and reversed onto the field.
Two men with guns in hand alighted from the car and approached a group of people among whom Segree and Higgins were.
The gunmen ran toward Segree and Higgins and opened fire, hitting them all over their bodies.
Others at the field ran in all directions. The two who were shot were taken to the Port Maria Hospital where Segree and Higgins were pronounced dead.
