VETERAN ON THE FORCE DIES AFTER ILLNESS
Sixty-year-old Constable Calvin ‘Drip Boss’ Smith died on Tuesday, April 30, at Annotto Bay Hospital, after a brief illness. Smith served the Jamaica Constabulary Force for more than 30 years and was assigned to the Detention and Courts Department at the time of his death.
In March, 27-year-old Constable Shackael Ellis died suddenly at his home in Richmond, St Mary. He was also from the Detention and Courts Department. That death is still being investigated.
