HIT BY CAR DRIVEN BY ANOTHER GUARD
A female security guard is dead after being hit down by a car driven by another guard, in St Mary..
Dead is 35-year-old Afia Archer of Annotto Bay in the parish.
It is reported that Ms Archer was hit by a motorcar when she was crossing the Trinity main road, east of Port Maria, on Monday, March 11.
The motorcar, a white Toyota Probox, was being driven by Michael Buchanan, security guard of Gray’s Inn.
It is reported that the crash took place near the Trinity Primary School.
Archer was rushed to the nearby Port Maria hospital. She succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday.
Buchanan reported the crash to the Port Maria Police. He was issued with a warning while the St Mary police are investigating.
