The Bahia Principe Team in partnership with the Spanish-Jamaican Foundation visited the St. Ann’s Bay Primary School for the Annual Read Across Jamaica Day initiative. The group of nine members of staff and two hotel guests spent the morning reading Spanish books to grades one, two and three of the St. Ann school.
Social relations manager, Farrah Blake called it “an honour to be a part of this island wide initiative, geared towards improving literacy among our children.” She lauded the Read Across Jamaica Foundation for its foresight and the Spanish-Jamaican Foundation for its mission to enhance the Spanish content in schools.
