PORTLAND’S WIFI  FALL TO SKILLFUL ARNETT GARDENS

DOUBLE HEADER IN WOMEN’S FOOTBALL AT CARDER PARK

PORT ANTONIO, Portland; March 20, 2026

A good crowd turned out Saturday afternoon, March 20, 2026,  for a Jamaica Women’s Premier League double-header at Carder Park, Portland,  that saw local team WiFi go down 4-1 to Arnett Gardens, who showed a lot of skill. When the goal came for WiFi in the 82nd minute, off the boots of Tashel Davis Arnett were then 3-1 up, but the crowd cheered as if WiFi had won. Arnett Gardens went on to win 4-1. Their goals came from Shinika Douglas 4th and 59th,  Shavnaks Johnson 21st, and Twonshee Hamilton 85th.

In the first match, Proven of St Thomas and Cavalier played to a 0-0 draw.
