Portlander Killed in Crash Involving Coaster Bus

The St. Mary Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a road crash in Annotto Bay that left one man dead Friday, in circumstances that are still unclear
Dead is 54-year-old Howard Hamilton of Red Hills Road, Port Antonio, Portland.
Reports are that on Friday, August 14, 2026, Hamilton was involved in a vehicular collision and sustained serious injuries. He was assisted to hospital, where he received medical treatment; however, he later succumbed to his injuries.
Investigations have since led the police to identify a coaster bus believed to have been involved in the collision. The driver of the vehicle has also been identified and contacted by investigators. St Mary police say arrangements are being made for him to report to the police as part of the ongoing investigation.
Police did not give any details of any other vehicle involved in the fatal crash or the circumstances in which it took place.
