2 VICTORIES COMPLETE TALLY OF 6 WINS, ONE DRAW IN PRELIM ROUND
Ocho Rios High School completed their first round of matches on a winning note, beating Cambridge High of St James, by 83 runs.

The match was played at Ultimate Sports Complex in St Ann, on Friday, February 23.
The victory against Cambridge means that Ocho Rios have won six of their seven matches and drawn the other.
The Ocho Rios High victory on Friday followed another earlier in the week, on Wednesday when they beat Brown’s Town High by 13 runs.
On Friday Ocho Rios High School won the toss and elected to bat first. They made 116 all out with Conroy Mitchell 40, Johnathan Smith 17 and Reando Kelly 13.
The top bowlers for Cambridge High School were Kavian Richards four wickets for 17, Vettari Ramsey two wickets for 7, and Akeem Clarke 2 for 26.
In reply, Cambridge High were bowled out for 33, with
Claude Hayles top scoring with 18.
Bowling for Ocho Rios High School, Reando Kelly took 8 wickets for 16 runs and Rushawn Lynch two for eight runs.

In the match against Brown’s Town High School, on February 21, at
Content Gardens, Ocho Rios, Brown’s Town High School won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Ocho Rios High School made 56 all out with
Deshaun Gayle 12 and Diondre Daye 11.
Bowling for Brown’s Town High School Jones took four for 17 and A. Mitchell four for 6 runs.
Brown’s Town High School in reply made 43 all out with Edwards top scoring with 7
