Nasirah’s continues to wow its local and overseas clients with its top of the line spa and salon services. Manager and owner of the business, Donna Callow, said since Nasirah’s was established two years ago, it has proven to be a cut above the rest, with its wide variety of services, excellent customer service and top class treatment of its clients. The business, in Eight Rivers Plaza, Ocho Rios, will mark its second anniversary on March 4 and Ms Callow said she and her team are grateful for the overwhelming support they have received over the last two years”We have come a long way and we are doing great,” said Ms Callow. “I have to say a special thanks to our clients and our staff, our staff is professional and great,” she said the success of Nasirah’s would not have been possible without the support of customers and the hard work put in daily by the staff. There are 12 employees, providing a wide range of services from taking care of the hair, nails, make up, spa treatments, waxing and barber services. Ms Callow said since the spa’s inception she and her team have been introducing new and innovative ways which will make customers experience different. She said the newest addition to the already wide variety of services is a Stress Cure Massage which includes the use of herb and spice. This, she explained, is a deep tissue massage and since it was introduced it has become a top seller. In addition to the Stress Cure Massage, other spa treatment include the Warm Bamboo Massage, Hotstones Massage, Forehand Massage and Reflexology. There are also couples’ treatment which can serve as suitable gifts for that special occasion like birthdays, anniversary or just a special treat for that special someone. Couples spa treatment include the Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Hotstone Massage, Body Scrubs, Bamboo and a 30-minute Reflex. Other spa treatment include: Sothy’s Resurfacing Facial, Anti Aging Facial, Rejuvenating Facial and Eye Treatment. Other services provided at Nasirah’s for the hair include grooming, woman’s cut, shampoo, rinse, relaxing, weaving, permanent and semi permanent colour, treatment. For nails, there are, among a range of other services, regular manicure and pedicure, spa manicure and pedicure as well as French manicure and pedicure, foot and ankle massage, gel polish and design. Among the barbering services are shave, special cut and face massage, boys and men’s cut, cut and colour, warm towel and shampoo. There are also various types of waxing including lips, chin, bikini, Brazilian, full body, arms and legs. Also, there are special packages which are designed to meet customers meet. However, Ms Callow said if a customer wants to custom build their own package that can be done. In addition to her very professional team of workers, she ensures that customers are dealt with in a very friendly and clean environment. Complimentary wine, juice or warm beverage is offered to customers on arrival. Additionally, customers getting various services for a special occasion like birthday, wedding or anniversary are served a complimentary fruit plate or crackers and cheese. Ms Callow prefers her clients to make an appointment. However, walk-ins are also welcomed. Her clients come from right across Jamaica and internationally too. “We gets a lot of customers from the hotels, the high end hotels too and the cruise ship,” she explained. She says the spa also provides on call service and will travel to various locations to provide especially bridal services to clients. She has also had a lot of international brides, who wed in Jamaica, and who have chosen Nasirah’s to have their hair and make-up done.

Beauty therapist at Nasirah’s, Susan Campbell, is among the team who ensure that customers are well taken care of. Ms Campbell said she enjoys working at Nasirah’s and she is proud to be part of the team that delivers quality service at all times. “I spent time and ensure that my clients get the very good professional service at all times. I am very professional and I love my job, I love what I do, I love my coworkers, everything here is teamwork,” Ms Campbell said because of the way she treats her customers she gets a lot of referral. Phillip Nelson works in the reception area and he said Nasirah’s goes above and beyond at all times, to ensure that their customers are dealt with professionally. He said quality customer service is key and each team member is required to live up to that standard. Additionally, he said Nasirah’s is ideally located and offers the best ambiance and very affordable prices.
