MONEAGUE STUDENT SLAIN

MONEAGUE STUDENT SLAIN

Police say they have identified a man wanted in the murder of a college student on Saturday night, May 24. Dead is 18-year-old Moneague College student, Xavier James of Buckfield, St Ann. Reports are that about 11 o’clock Saturday night James was walking along the road in Buckfield when three men approached him. The men accosted him and one of them chased James before stabbing him in the chest. James ran off and collapsed and was pronounced dead at hospital. Police confirmed reports that James’ killing may be connected to a long standing squabble with students from a St Ann high school. The former York Castle High student reportedly had a long running dispute with boys from another school, from the time he was at high school. It is reported the boys have maintained a grudge against him even though he long left high school and enrolled at the Moneague College.

Reacting to the North Coast Times request, through a post on facebook, for information about James, Skittadoll Sick doll Mesquita Ravingqueen said: “He was a calm young man, very friendly and he always look out for his friends. From I know Xavier he was always interested in sports, always giving jokes. At one point he started doing dancing and moreover he was a dedicated individual. Always doing his school work from primary school when our friendship began until this day. We all missed Xavier he was like our brother from another mother. Sigh. Xavier you’re missed by many and you will always be in our hearts. We love you. RIP bro.”
