A 14-year-old girl from St Ann’s Bay, St Ann has been found dead, with her throat slashed in the back of her yard, Sunday morning.
Dead is fourteen-year-old Raven Wilson of Top Road, St. Ann’s Bay. Raven, a student of Ocho Rios High was reported missing Friday, October 19.
Relatives said she left for school Friday and did not return home Friday afternoon at which time she was reported missing.
Reports from the St. Ann’s Bay Police are that about 6:30 a.m. Sunday, October 21, residents discovered her body in a large garbage bag in a ravine at the back of her house. Police said the body had a wound to the face but other reports to the North Coast Times said her throat was slashed.
The girl’s mother fainted when she heard the news. She was taken to hospital
Police investigations continue.
