Accused Of Violently Attacking, Raping Guest
A St Ann businessman has been charged with rape and other sex crimes after he reportedly sexually and violently assaulted a woman who was staying at his guesthouse.
He is sixty-seven-year-old Cecil Walters, a businessman of Hill View, Ocho Rios, St Ann.
Walters has been charged with breaches of the Sexual Offences Act following an incident in the parish on Monday, May 29.
He was charged with rape, buggery, unlawful detention
, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Reports are that about 10:00 a.m., Walters who is the owner of a guesthouse; gained entry to the complainant’s room where he had sexual intercourse with her. She attempted to escape and was hit in the face, by Walters.
A report was made to the police and on arrival at the premises, Walters was pointed out by the woman. He was arrested and charged. His court date is being finalized.
