CURFEW IMPOSED IN ANNOTTO BAY AREA

48-HOUR SECURITY MEASURE STARTED TUESDAY EVENING

ANNOTTO BAY, St Mary; May 27, 2026

A curfew is in effect in the Annotto Bay area of St Mary.

The 48-hour curfew began at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

North: Along the Top Bay Main Road in the vicinity of the Texaco Gas Station and the entrance to the Annotto Bay Public Hospital, extending north-east toward sections of Marking Stone in the vicinity of Marking Stone Beach.

East: Along sections of the Marking Stone Main Road, extending east toward the Iteboreale Main Road in the vicinity of the National Water Commission water catchment facility.

South: Along sections of the Iteboreale Main Road, extending west into a vegetated area located within sections of the Gibraltar Heights Housing Scheme.

West: From sections of the Gibraltar Heights Housing Scheme, extending north back to the Top Bay Main Road in the vicinity of the Texaco Gas Station and the entrance to the Annotto Bay Public Hospital.

During the hours of the security measure, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
