DAUGHTER CAME HOME AND FOUND THEM DEAD
A couple in St Ann was shot dead in their home Friday.
Dead are Daney Wollaston, furniture maker, and his wife Kamarah Wollaston of Gully Road, St Ann’s Bay, St Ann.
Reports are that a teenage daughter of the couple came home from school Friday afternoon and found her parents dead inside the house. Mr Wollaston was seen lying on his back with gunshot wounds to the torso and his wife, also called Kerry, was seen on the floor in the bedroom in a pool of blood. She had gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Commanding Officer for St Ann Senior Superintendent Dwight Powell was among senior police personnel visiting the double murder scene, Friday evening, May 12.
Only a day earlier he told the St Ann Municipal Corporation General Meeting that the police continued to be challenged by murders that were up 50 percent on the figures last year.
Investigations continue.
