No motive has been stated for the murder of a man in Allepo, near Clonmel, St Mary on Saturday morning, May 31. Dead is 65-year-old Denzil Dill a retired barber of Allepo. Mr Dill was the third person murdered in St Mary in May. Among the more recent murder victims was 65 year-old retired teacher, Elizabeth Lindo, of Brimmer Vale. The body of Mr Dill was found on the roadway about 5:30 Saturday morning by a farmer who made an alarm. The body had at least one stab wound to the chest. Friends in the area said Mr Dill went to a send off party for a friend who lives overseas and has been here for weeks completing the construction of a house. It’s reported that Mr Dill left the event close to midnight. A businessman who is a friend in the area said Mr Dill who had a prosthetic leg from an accident years ago had no enemies that he knows of.
