A motor vehicle crash on Main Street, Ocho Rios, St Ann Tuesday afternoon, August 8, knocked out electricity in a portion of the tourism resort for a while.
The electricity loss in the sweltering heat of the mid-afternoon caused discomfort to many patrons and employees in the town’s businesses.
It also caused a major traffic snarl and left many talking about the crash on the one-way street.
Several people have asked that more signage be put up around Ocho Rios to help the many local and international visitors to better navigate the streets of the resort.
