They Had Regular Quarrels
A 33-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of his father in St Mary.
Charged is Omar Forth of St. Mary Street, Port Maria, in St. Mary.
He has been charged for the murder of his 74-year-old father, a taxi operator of the same address.
The North Coast Times Sunday reported the stabbing of the elder Forth but had deliberately not identified his son.
Reports from the Port Maria Police are that about 3:00 a.m., Saturday, August 5, Forth came home and saw his son on the veranda watching movies on his phone.
An argument developed between the two, who often had quarrels.
During the argument young Forth used a knife to inflict several wounds to his father. The police were alerted and upon their arrival, Clovis was assisted to hospital where he was pronounced dead. An investigation was launched and Forth was charged with Murder on Sunday, August 6 following a caution statement.
His court date is being finalised.
