Major League Champs To Try For Tier 2
The champions of St Mary Major League football are Gray’s Inn Football Club Ltd.
Gray’s Inn triumphed over Axium in the finals at Annotto Bay Multi-Purpose Complex on Sunday, July 16.
They beat Axium 1-0 through a goal in the second half by Kevar Levy, captain. Coach of the team is Omar Pickersgill.

President of Gray’s Inn, Mario Swazey says he’s not surprised by the victory. He said Gray’s Inn has been the team in St Mary that is always prepared, always competitive, and were defending champions going into the match. According to the President, the team will go forward now seeking to get a place in Tier 2 of the JFF competition.
Mr Swazey said Gray’s Inn should have got there before but starting with the time of COVID-19 they had several setbacks.
He said he is looking forward to more success of the team.
