4 Escaped Last Year August, One Still On The Run
Only one of four prisoners who escaped the Ocho Rios Police lock up, St Ann, nearly a year ago remains on the run.
Two others were held in recent days and are back in custody.
Another was shot dead in a confrontation with police last December.
The four who escaped last year August, are:
- Forty-year-old Terrence Harrelal of Claremont, St. Ann, charged with shooting with intent.
- Forty-two-year-old Dennis Colbourne of Islington, St. Mary. He is charged for rape.
- Twenty-two-year-old Javar Grant of Priory, St. Ann. He is charged for illegal possession of firearm.
- Thirty-year-old Jermaine Rodgers, of Mile End, St. Ann. He is charged with illegal possession of firearm.
Grant was turned over to the police by a relative at the weekend, Rodgers was held in a police dragnet in St Catherine. Both are in custody, facing the additional charge of escaping custody.
Harrelal was shot dead in Runaway Bay last December in a reported confrontation with police.
Colbourne remains at large. Head of the St Ann police SSP Dwight Powell has called on him to turn himself in by Friday, July 15.
