A woman, who pleaded guilty to fraud, is to be sentenced in the St Ann Parish Court in October.
When Kameisha Riley appeared in the said court on Tuesday, September 5, she pleaded guilty to uttering false documents with intent of deceiving the Passport, Immigration & Citizenship Agency (PICA). She also pleaded guilty to the offense of using a false Jamaican Passport.
Riley will be sentenced on October 24.
Allegations are that on April 30, 2009, Riley made a false declaration in the name of Patricia Stephaney Bailey for the said passport.
The court is now awaiting a social enquiry report and Riley’s criminal records before her sentence is handed down.
If Riley does not have a criminal record, she may serve a non custodial sentence.
