Sandals Royal Plantation on Wednesday, November 16, officially opened the Royal Lounge Recreation Room for team members at the resort. According to general manager Arnold Nugent, the new facility will offer team members a comfortable environment for them to relax and unwind during their off duty hours. The new Royal Lounge comes with mounted television and couches for team member to relax, watch and unwind during shifts or after work. “Our talents deserve the best and the opening of the Royal Lounge is another of our efforts to make them as comfortable and happy both on and off the job,” general manager Nugent noted, adding “We are not just about providing the best accommodations for guests but also our talents as well.” Said a team member: “The new area is just amazing and we are very happy to see that our management team is a caring one and has provided such a great environment for us at work.
