The police arrested a man after he was caught with an illegal firearm at a bar in the Hollywood community in Steer Town, St Ann on Friday night, October 14.
Reports from the Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) are that the police observed a man acting in a suspicious manner while he was standing at a bar.
The police searched him and they found a Sig Sauer pistol with fourteen 9 mm cartridges.
The man was later taken into custody.
His identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
