Following his arrest recently, Dancehall recording artiste Popcaan has been released by police in Antigua. However the artiste was charged with obstructing a police officer and battery of a police officer. The deejay was fined EC$2,000 which is equivalent to about $740 US or J$95,000.
In a video now circulating on social media, Popcaan intervened during a confrontation between a policeman and a fan who made his way onto the stage. Popcaan has since posted a video on his official Instagram page which shows his mother embracing him in prayer
