The Police are offering a reward of $200,000 for information leading to the arrest and charge of one of St Ann’s most wanted for a double murder committed a year ago.
He is 50-year-old Brian Forbes, otherwise called ‘QQ’, of Drumily district, St. Ann.
Forbes is wanted in connection with the April 25, 2015 murder of 15-year-old Amoya Brown and 25-year-old Demar Smith.
Reports from the Claremont Police are that about 6:00 a.m., a dispute developed between Forbes and the two, who were his neighbours, allegedly about a loud noise disturbance. During the dispute a machete was used to inflict several chop wounds to Brown and Smith. They died while being treated at hospital.
Forbes is said to frequent bushes on properties belonging to ALCAN.
Despite residents claiming to have spotted Forbes on several occasions in bushes, the police still have not located him.
