One man has been charged following the seizure of a homemade firearm and one 9mm cartridge on Gully Road, Boscobel, St. Mary on Tuesday, January 26.
He is 26-year-old Kamal Bartley, labourer of Boscobel in the parish.
Reports are that about 8:30 p.m.., a team of officers carried out a snap raid at a shop in the area, when the firearm was found.
Bartley is booked to appear in the Port Maria Resident Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, February 04.
Investigations continue.
