The eldest of eight children born to her parents, Levone Pinnock has an undying love for community development. At just 15 years of age, she started the Orange Valley Youth Club in her community. She is a compliance officer at the world renowned Dolphin Cove attraction in Ocho Rios St. Ann and still makes time to be largely involved in community related activities, in which she has been involved for close to 40 years. As a result, she was awarded by the St. Ann Parish Council for her contribution to community service.Residing in Pleasant Valley St. Ann, Miss Pinnock is a civil registrar and Justice of the Peace for the garden parish. She was a voluntary teacher at JAMAL, now the Jamaica Foundation for Lifelong Learning, and is now the president for the Pleasant Valley Citizens Association and director for the Orange Valley Development Limited, a voluntary organization. She is also a member of the Friends of St. Ann’s Bay Hospital, another voluntary organization and the past secretary and treasurer for the North West St Ann Justices of the Peace Association.Miss Pinnock is a certified professional secretary and was nominated woman of the year by the American Biographical Institute. She is also a certified counsellor in conflict resolution with the Ministry of Justice. She also devotes her time to being a mentor and motivator for young people.
