The SEBA Football Club was presented with a set of new jerseys courtesy of one of the team’s sponsors, First Choice Finance Ltd. The presentation took place at the Montego Bay branch of First Choice Finance at Trinity Mall on Barnett Street. Gary Malcolm, branch manager and Abigail James, receptionist, were on hand to present the gear to Gregory Williams, founder of the Seba Football team. Seba F.C. will now compete in the St. James Senior League competition which will commence next month. The names links back with the Gully Ambassadors team who barely missed out on a place in the Confed Super League competition. The lost 2-5 to Montego Bay Boys and Girls Club in the two -way finals after they were leading 2-0 in the first leg. The team will parade top class footballers such as former National representative such as: Theodore Whitmore, Hector Wright, Curtis Sappleton, Omar Reid, Phillip Wong, Leon McKnight, Gregory Williams, Nicardo Malcolm, Adrian Wong, Iton Scott, Sean McNish, Akeil Irons, Santino Brown, Tanaris Atherley, Travis Jump, Franklyn Allen, Warren Wilson amongst others. The aim of the team from North Gully is to get back the team to the National Premier League in the next two seasons. The club is also gearing up to have a female football team and a netball team. They are now recruiting young and talented players to help with the development of the club.
