RUNAWAY BAY, St Ann; Sept. 27, 2026
A man was shot and killed in Runaway Bay Sunday night, September 27, 2026.
Dead is 49-year-old Marlon Ricardo Morris, a construction worker of Runaway Bay, St Ann
Very little is known of what transpired, but reports to the North Coast Times are that the incident took place about 6 p.m. in a house close to the Moving Church, near Runaway Bay crossroads.
Unconfirmed reports are that Morris had only minutes earlier returned home when gunshots were heard. Speculation is that his killer was or killers were waiting on him at the house.
Police who responded to the reports of the incident saw Morris lying on his back on a bed inside a room clad in green and white underwear with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the right arm and neck. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Several spent shells were found at the scene.
