Patrons can look forward to a sumptuous spread of local delicacies and drinks, making it a true culinary experience.

“It’s going to be a night of nostalgia, music, and pure vibes,” says one of the organizers. “We’ve had 50 years of good times, and we want to go out with a bang.”

BELOVED ANNUAL TRADITION

The party originated in 1976 when a group of friends from Kingston and St Mary gathered at Comfort Valley, in St Mary, to celebrate “Sankey’s” birthday.

Lanville ‘Sankey’ Henry is a retired bank manager.

The event‘s roaring success led to its relocation to Hunter’s Pub in Martin, St Mary, and eventually to its current home in Sanchez Place, Robin’s Bay, where it has become a beloved annual tradition.

Over the years, this iconic event has undergone transformations that have made it better. What started as a free gathering has evolved into a bottle party, and since 2013, it has become a paid event. Despite the changes, the spirit of the party remains the same – a celebration of life, music, and community.

If you’ve never been here is your last chance. And if you have attended one or several of the other annual Sankey parties, come out and celebrate 50 years of this beloved tradition! 🎉
