A British national was killed in a traffic crash on Thursday, August 28, 2025, in St Mary.
Dead is Anthony Hamilton, a 64-year-old IT technician from the United Kingdom. Mr Hamilton’s wife was injured in the crash but was treated and released from hospital.
Initial reports to the North Coast Times were that the crash took place about 3:02 p.m. along the Endeavor main road, Cascade, St Mary.
The crash involved a Polaris Sportsman ATV motorcycle with no registration plate affixed.
According to reports, Mr. Hamilton was riding an ATV bike with his wife as a pillion passenger when he lost control of the vehicle and landed in an embankment. Both individuals were transported to the St. Ann’s Bay Hospital, where Mr Hamilton was pronounced dead on arrival and his wife received treatment and was later released.
Follow-up investigations are being carried out by the police. The Jamaica Constabulary Force extends its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
