A man was murdered in his home, Islington, St Mary, early Wednesday morning, July 9, 2025.
Dead is 55-year-old Elvis Moore, otherwise called “Speng” or “Supa”, higgler of Top Albany, St. Mary.
Reports indicate that at about 12:30 a.m., Wednesday, residents heard what sounded like gunshots coming from Moore’s one-bedroom dwelling. About 5:40 a.m., a relative went to check on him and discovered that the door appeared to have been forced open.
The police were alerted. On arrival, officers found Moore lying in his bed, on his back, with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the right side of his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The St. Mary Police are assuring residents that all efforts are being made to bring those responsible to justice and maintain peace within the community.
