Twenty-eight-year-old UTECH student Deveta Dowling is the new St Ann Festival Queen.

Ms Dowling, wearing the sash of Jewelley Junction, won from a field of eight in a tight, well-organized and executed Parish Coronation show at Marcus Garvey Technical High School, St Ann’s Bay on Sunday evening, June 22.
She told the North Coast Times that she wanted to dedicate the win to her mother.
First runner-up was Anishka Parish, a 20-year-old registered nurse.
Second runner up was 25-year-old Moneague College student Keshanna Watkis.
