MAN KILLED IN 3-VEHICLE ST MARY CRASH

OVERTAKING PROBOX CRASHED HEAD-ON INTO SUCCEED

PORT MARIA, St Mary; June 6, 2025

A man is dead and two others injured following a three-vehicle crash along the Cambridge Main Road in St Mary.

Dead is 44-year-old Kadon Gray of Barracks River, Richmond, St. Mary

Police said the three vehicles involved in the crash were a white 2017 Toyota Succeed, a white 2016 Toyota Probox, and a silver 2019 Toyota Succeed. The crash occurred on Tuesday, June 4, 2025, at approximately 10:30 pm along the Cambridge Main Road.

According to preliminary police reports, the Toyota Probox was traveling from Port Maria towards Highgate at a high speed when the driver attempted to overtake another vehicle.

Police say the Toyota Probox collided with the silver Succeed and then crashed head-on with the white Toyota Succeed. As a result of the collision, all three vehicles were extensively damaged, and the drivers were injured and transported to the Port Maria hospital.

Gray, the driver of the Toyota Probox, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the Port Maria Hospital on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 5:35 am. The other two drivers received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries and were later released.

The Port Maria Police are investigating.

The police are urging the public to exercise caution, employ safe driving practices on the roadways, and remain vigilant to prevent accidents.
