ST ANN VENDOR IS MURDER VICTIM NUMBER 14 THIS YEAR
A popular vendor from St Ann was shot and killed along the Dunn’s River main road in the parish just after midnight Saturday.
Dead is 47-year-old Conroy Hill otherwise called “Bigga”, of Roaring River, Steer Town, St. Ann. He was well known in St Ann’s Bay where he sold belts and other items.
Police report that Hill’s body was discovered about 12:10 Sunday morning, April 6, 2025, when motorists noticed a black Toyota Voxy bus that appeared to have crashed along the embankment of the Dunn’s River main road.
The police were summoned and upon their arrival, Hill’s body was seen in the front right driver’s seat of the black Toyota Voxy motor car. The body was slumped to the left front passenger seat. Hill had what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the left side of the head and blood all over his body. Two 9mm spent casings were found on the scene.
The Area Two Technical Services Division processed the scene.
