RESTAURANT OWNER ATTACKED AT HOME
PORT ANTONIO, Portland; March 7, 2025

Portland police are investigating the murder of a businessman who was shot dead near Port Antonio, Thursday morning, March 6, 2025.
.Dead is 62-year-old Albert Lindsay also called “Bugsy,” of Anchovy Land Settlement, Portland.
Lindsay operated the Anna Banana restaurant on Folly Road in Port Antonio.
According to a Constabulary Communications Network report, at about 8:45 a.m. Lindsay was in his house with his family having breakfast when two men rode up on a motorcycle. One of the men alighted from the motorcycle, walked into the yard and called out to Lindsay. Lindsay walked to a window of his house, looked out, and was shot multiple times before the men escaped on the motorcycle
The police were summoned and upon their arrival, Lindsay was found with gunshot wounds to
his chest. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigations are ongoing.
Five people have now been killed violently in Portland since the start of the year.
