AREA WHERE KILLING TOOK PLACE WAS UNDER CURFEW

A 26-year-old farmer was murdered in his sleep early Sunday morning, Feb. 23, 2025, in St Mary.

Dead is Renford Dean, also called “Scamma” of Iterboreale, Annotto Bay in the parish.
Police reports to the North Coast Times are that about 1:50 on Sunday morning, February 23 Dead and a woman were sleeping at home in Iterboreale. The woman was awakened by loud explosions. She realized that Dean was bleeding from the upper body.
The woman summoned the police.
The law enforcement officers found Dean on the bed, on his back, with gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The area where the murder occurred has been under curfew since Saturday evening at 6 o’clock. The 48-hour curfew continues until Monday, February 24, and will likely be extended.
