MEN MURDERED IN ST ANN IDENTIFIED.

ONE STABBED, ONE SHOT IN HEAD IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS

Police have identified the bodies of two men murdered in St Ann in the week between Wednesday, September 18 and Tuesday, September 24.

Bit motives have not been established the deaths.

Dead are Rommell Brown, a 24-year-old labourer of Lime Bottom near Ocho Rios and Peter John Rickets a 21-year-old customer service representative of Greenwich Acres in the parish.

There has been no arrest in either case and police have determined no motive for the killings.

In the most recent case, police said passersby came upon the body of Brown near the Mammee Bay roundabout, Tuesday morning, Sept. 24, at about 7:08. The body was clad in a pair of black Jeans pants and a black shirt. Police said he had several stab wounds to the upper body.

In the earlier murder, sources say the killing appears to have been a hit.  Ricketts was reported missing Tuesday evening, September 17. His body was found on a deserted stretch of road near a chicken farm, outside of Clearmontt on Wednesday. His hands were reportedly bound and he had a gunshot wound to the head.

The North Coast Times has been trying to get reliable details but has been unsuccessful.
