SHOTS HEARD IN THE NIGHT, BODY FOUND IN GOLDEN GROVE
A man was shot to death in Golden Grove, St Ann on Sunday night, March 31, 2024. No motive has been given for the killing.
Dead is 56-year-old Alcan Rose also called “Baz” or “Badness”, labourer of no fixed address.
According to reports reaching the North Coast Times, at about 10:30 Sunday night residents near to the Fesco Service Station in Golden Grove, heard several explosions sounding like gunshots.
On Easter Monday morning, April 1 2024, at about 7:30 citizens discovered the lifeless body of Mr Rose and contacted the Claremont Police.
On the arrival of Police, the body was seen lying on its back with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds, over the head and chest area. He was attired in a ‘T’-shirt, a pair of floral shorts, and a pair of shoes.
Death was confirmed at St Ann’s Bay Hospital.
