ST MARY MAN ATTACKED IN ST ANN HOME
A woman who is eight months pregnant has been left without her unborn child’s father after he was shot dead while visiting her.
Dead is 20-year-old Jordane Parkinson also called Kevin, unemployed of Petersfield, Retreat, St. Mary.
Police report that on Wednesday evening, March 20, Parkinson went to visit his 17-year-old unemployed common-law wife who is eight months pregnant.
He was inside the bedroom playing games on his phone when, at about 8:15 p.m., two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm entered the house. The gunman opened fire hitting Parkinson to his right side.
The pregnant woman who was having a bath outside ran towards another house on the same premises and cried for help. The police were summoned.
Parkinson’s body was found next to the bed with what appeared to be gunshot wounds to the right side.
The St Ann’s Bay Police are conducting the investigation.
They are appealing to anyone who may have information about this incident to contact the nearest police station or call any of the police confidential lines.
