ST MARY MAN MURDERED IN OCHI
A mechanic was shot dead in Ocho Rios, St Ann, while he worked on a vehicle on Wednesday evening, February 28.
Dead is Chadwayne Gayle, otherwise called Scary of Jacks River, St Mary.
Reports are that Gayle and another man were working on a vehicle at Top Milford Road, Ocho Rios about 8:30 p.m., when a man walked up to them and fired several shots.
Gayle was hit several times. He was pronounced dead at hospital.
Police say the gunman escaped on foot in the area.
Senior Superintendent of Police in charge of St Ann, Dwight Powell is appealing for anyone with information on the incident to contact the police who are actively investigating the murder.
