LOOKED EASY IN HEADLEY CUP ACTION TUESDAY
St Mary cricketing powerhouse Tacky High rolled over opponents Port Antonio High in their first match in this year’s Grace Headley Cup Competition, on Tuesday, Jan 30.
Also playing on Tuesday, Ocho Rios High won their second match from two starts, beating Herbert Morrison High of St James.

OCHI WIN IN ST JAMES
Ocho Rios High School have now won their first two matches in the Headley Cup Cricket completion after beating Herbert Morrison away.
Ocho Rios won by seven wickets thanks to a magnificent all-around performance by captain Reando Ke;;y who took six for 23 and made 22 not out.

In the match played at Cornwall College, Ocho Rios High won the toss and elected to bowl first.
They bowled out Herbert Morrison High for 79. Batting for the St James school, D Kerry top scored with 16 not out; R. Parris made 15 and D. Wint also made 15.
Bowling for Ocho Rios High, Kelly took 6 for 23 and was supported by Rushawn Lynch 3 for 24 and Deshaun Gayle 1 for 14.
At their turn at the crease, Ocho Rios High School made 81 for 3 with Kelly posting 22. Conroy Mitchell top scored with 28.
Bowling for losers Herbert Morrison N Tate took two wickets for six runs.
TACKY CONFIDENT
Coach of Tacky High, of St Mary, Sheldon Pryce is brimming with confidence about the prospects of his team. Even before the match Tuesday he told the North Coast Times that he was confident in his team. He said they had retained most of the team from last year when Tacky placed third overall.

In the match played at the College of Agriculture, Science and Education (CASE), visitors Tacky won the toss and put Port Antonio to bat. They bowled out the Portlanders for 59. Antoney Palmer and Damion Palmer each made 12 for Port Antonio High.

Bowling for Tacky, Romeo McDonald took three wickets for 10 and Demareo Newton 3 wickets for 12 runs.
In their turn at the wicket, Tacky made 62 for 2 with Marlon Williams, 49 not out.
