6-y-o Daniel was seen with accused before he was killed, court told

boy

The man charged for the murder of a six year old boy from Runaway Bay was denied bail after the prosecution set out a history of violence by the accused.
Twenty-four-year-old Vinnel Brown of Mt Edgecombe, Runaway Bay, St. Ann is the man charged in connection with the murder of six-year-old Daniel Anderson, a student of Runaway Bay All Age. Daniel’s mutilated body was discovered on Monday, November 16, by a passerby, just a day after he went missing on Sunday, November 15.
The court was told Thursday that while accused brown was on bail in a case of wounding his own sister he had committed more violence against another family member. Also the prosecution is claiming that they have a witness who claimed she saw Brown holding Daniel’s hands and walking in a gully the very day the boy was seen for the last time.
But the defence was not impressed and said there was nothing to keep Brown locked up. RM Andrea Thomas disagreed but knocked the prosecution saying it should get its house in order and get the file complete and come back to court February 4.
