4 KILLED SO FAR IN ST ANN IN 2024

 

WOMAN’S THROAT CUT IS LATEST MURDER

A woman was found with her throat cut this morning near Claremont in St Ann, bringing to four the number of people who have been violently killed so far this year, in the parish.

The latest was a woman whose throat was cut Two of those killed were murdered and one fatally shot by police. Details on this developing story later.

Shot and killed by hoodlums at Seville, St Ann’s Bay, Tuesday morning, January 10, 2024, was thirty-two-year-old water sport operator, Winston Scott of Charles Town, Windsor St Ann.

Reports to the North Coast Times are that later that same day, Tuesday a man was shot and killed at Top Road, St Ann’s Bay. Reports he was involved in a confrontation with police.

The first murder recorded in the parish was that of 36-year-old Duwayne Clarke, also called Zanu, of Top Road, St Ann’s Bay.  Clarke, a murder accused was slain on Gully Road, the North Coast Times reported Monday, January 8.
