One More Truck Faces Grief
Three men were injured when a truck, heading toward Mammee Bay Roundabout, St Ann, on the Edward Seaga Highway Thursday morning, crashed into an embankment.
According to reports, just before 7 a.m., a Benz truck heading north crashed into the embankment on the highway. Three men on the truc were injured, one reportedly sustaining a broken leg.
Two of the men were taken to the St Ann’s Bay Hospital. A fire unit from the St Ann’s Bay Fire Department provided assistance to the other man, placing him on a spine board before he was also taken for medical assistance.
It is reported that one of the men was admitted.
The crash Thursday morning is the latest of a series in which large units have come to grief descending the slope toward the roundabout, which many say is badly designed.
