A woman was shot and wounded by a gunman while on her way home in Annotto Bay, St Mary on Saturday night, October 15.
Police reports are that at about 9:20 p.m. in the Gibraltar Heights area of Annotto Bay, the woman was walking along the roadway when she was approached by two armed men.
One of the men later shot the woman in her abdomen.
The men escaped in the area.
The woman was assisted to the hospital, where she was admitted in stable condition.
The Annotto Bay police are investigating.
